Technique	Definition, Why is it used	Example
Establishing Shot	An establishing shot is usually the first shot of a new scene, designed to show the audience where the action is taking place. It is usually a very wide shot or extreme wide shot.
Extreme long shot	In film, a view of a scene that is shot from a considerable distance, so that people appear as indistinct shapes
Long shot	In photography, filmmaking and video production, a long shot typically shows the entire object or human figure and is usually intended to place it in some relation to its surroundings
Mid shot	a shot taken at a medium distance.
Close up shot	A close-up or closeup in filmmaking, television production, still photography and the comic strip medium is a type of shot, which tightly frames a person
Extreme close up	The extreme close-up shot is traditionally used in film to allow the viewer to enter the character's intimate space
POV shot	A point of view shot (also known as POV shot, First-person shot
Over the shoulder shot	In film or video, an over the shoulder shot is a shot of someone or something taken from the perspective or camera angle from the shoulder of another person.
Bird’s eye view	From above A bird's-eye view is an elevated view of an object from above
Low angle	In cinematography, a low-angle shot, is a shot from a camera angle positioned low on the vertical axis, anywhere below the eye line, looking up. Sometimes, it is even directly below the subject's feet
High angle	A high-angle shot is a cinematic technique where the camera looks down on the subject from a high angle and the point of focus often gets "swallowed up.
Tracking	Following and object or person
Panning	When the camera angle is changing but its not moving
Zoom	Zoom Lens Definition. The zoom lens measurements for a digital camera signify the amount of magnification the lens can produce.
Fade	Fading into the next scene
Wipe	A wipe is a type of film transition where one shot replaces another by travelling from one side of the frame to another or with a special shape.

For p.e today and yesterday we measured our athletic skills in these four sports:

Sprints-20.5 seconds

long jump 2.8m

shotput 4.49m

discus 9.81m

I feel like I did well in all the categories. I didn't do as well in sprints as I hoped

FOA 2016 mosaics the last week

THIS WEEK I FINISHED ALL OF MY MOSAICS 

Music class 2016

In music class we have learned so much different things.

Term 1:

In term one  we learnt  keyboard and I  played  one call away by Charlie Puth

Term 2:

 was a break from music so there was no music practice.

Term 3:

In term 3 we made our own instruments out of recycled materials. I made a shaker with two yogurt containers and I cut up plastic from a ice cream container to make the shaking noise.

Term 4:

In term (now) we are working on making a  performance to show the class using different instruments.

My favorite part of music was making our own instruments because we got to let our creativity go wild to create the right instrument.
