26/11/18 Stone carving

In stone carving today we are working on our second project. The project we are working on is the Maui hook. I have inserted a similar picture.   I worked with Sara. The tools I used were the cheese grater, Round rasp, Flat rasp, Sandpaper,  and a file. Mr. Mitchell drilled the small hole in my work so I could work on the shaping of the inside. After the hole was drilled, I started to work on shaping my design until I liked it.

In stone carving class we are designing pictures of what we want the big carvings to look like.
