I wonder why the sea is salty

I wonder why/ how the sea is salty.

Salt in the ocean comes from rocks on land. The rain that falls on land contains some dissolved carbon dioxide from the surrounding air. This causes the rain to be slightly acidic due to carbonic acid. Sodium and chloride are salty. As the rain slowly dissolves the rocks,  This process creates ions. These ions are carried away in water flow to oceans, Salt lakes etc making them salty. Some estimates say that if we removed all salt from the water on earth and spread it evenly over earths surface of land, it would form a layer more than 500 feet thick. This would be around the height of a 40 story office building.

I wonder why we can only see 5,000 stars

I wonder why we can only see 5,000 stars when there are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the observable universe. Our galaxy, the milky way has approximately  100 billion stars in it. We cant see them all because light travels at a finite speed. Light has only had around 13.7 billion years to travel. Meaning we cannot see stars any further than 13.7 billion light years away.

Country living is good for young people

Hieroglyphics

Hieroglyphics is an Egyptian system which was used for communication. They created symbols which were used as letters.  In modern days we use letters as a way of interacting by writing letters horizontally across the page. This is how humans communicate with each other without having to draw pictures and write them the way the Egyptians did. Down below is my name written in hieroglyphics.

Cave art

In social studies we are learning about cave art and the relation to technology and change. it shows my learning because it showed i understood the use of sticks to create art just like the cavemen. I wonder how they came up with the idea to make paint and use sticks to create designs. I can use this learning to teach others the importance of cave art.
